The Success of 2010 Philippine Election Behind All the Glitches!

successful-2010-philippine-electionThe most controversial 2010 Philippine election was finally a success despite all the glitches that was encountered and doubts on election failure that never left until results from all parts of the country was gathered. The 2010 Philippine election has made another mark in our history as it was the first automated election and considered as the most peaceful election ever recorded. Although the result has not yet finalize but apparently for some provinces results are 90% up already thus giving a clearer hint of who has won the race.

Media people and even experts have doubted on this automated election. But when fast results from all over the country has been gathered in just a short period of time, they were astonished. Considering this is the first automated election in our country, glitches are not impossible to happen. Yet we should be thankful Comelec officials are doing their jobs to work on this little glitches and provide everything this election needs. Instead of criticizing on the very slow voting procedure, understanding why it has come into that situation would greatly help. We should not blame all those glitches to the Comelec officials, partly we voters has contributed a small part of those glitches. The whole automated election should be a learning experience to us all, not just to the Comelec Officials,  volunteer teachers, politicians and other committees responsible for this election.  For the next incoming election, glitches we have experienced during this election, if not totally corrected, then at least be minimize.

g1boMy Presidential bet was not as successful as I’ve expected, but still my wholesome respect and trust on his capabilities and capacities has never and will never change. Still for me Gibo is just the right one. But we can never let all people believe on what we believe, understand on what we understand, and hope on what we hope. Maybe the changes we are looking up for our country is not yet for now. Still hoping for that time to come. As for now, let us just see what Noynoy can do for our country. I hope not to hear pleas from people who voted for him specifically those unfortunate ones whom I believed have cast most of their votes to Noynoy.

As we welcome the new sets of government officials, we hope to see improvements in our country for the next few months. A more greener, fruitful and peaceful Philippines! Good luck to us all Pinoys!
