Samsung Series 7 Monitors

samsung_series7_sc770One of the global leader in digital technologies, Samsung Electronics Co., has announced two of its premium monitors: Samsung Series 7 SC770 Touch Monitor and the non-touch Series 7 SC750. Samsung Series 7 SC770 Touch Monitor comes in at 24 inches while the non-touch Series 7 SC750 is at 27 inches and both are having the full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 with HDMI inputs for an effortless connectivity to any of your devices such as laptops, Windows 8 box, etc.  Both Series 7 monitors have PLS-type panels that has an aspect ratio of 16:9 with 5ms (GTG) response time and contrast ratio of 5000:1. These Series 7 monitors are said to be on display at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) from January 8-11, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Series 7 SC770 Touch Monitor is the first multi-touch display of Samsung that is optimized for Windows 8. It uses an MVA panel with 250 cd/m2 brightness and allows 178-degree viewing angles. Series 7 SC770 supports up to 10 points of simultaneous multi-touch, thus, users can use its fingers to drag, rotate, pinch, twist or select objects on the monitor.

Series 7 SC770 has a flexible and ergonomic stand that is adjustable for a more convenient viewing experience offering 60-degree tilting.

On the other hand, Series 7 SC750 uses a WVA (Wide Viewing Angle) LED-backlit LCD panel with 300 cd/m2 brightness. It is well optimized specifically for web surfing and for document viewing in both landscape and portrait modes.

Series 7 SC750 settles perfectly on a brushed metal stand that is capable of 90-degree tilting for a more cozy viewing experience and is carefully positioned at a very comfy eye-level.

These two Series 7 monitors have no definite price yet and are set to be out on the first quarter of 2013.
