Motorola Sold to Google for $12.5 Billion

motorola-sold-to-googleJust this week, Google announced its fusion with Motorola Mobility. The said fusion of two leading innovative companies was estimated to cost for about $12.5 billion. Google CEO Larry Page blogged this announcement at Google blog stating their main objective of fusing with Motorola, the leading and first Android handset manufacturer in the world.

With this fusion, both companies assure their consumers a more powerful and enhanced Android phones for a greater choice, wonderful user experience and a more fleeting innovations. Because of this new partnership, it is then expected that Motorola Android phones will soon be a dedicated Google phones.

Since Motorola is now Google’s better half, it was said that the next Google Nexus phone will automatically be a Motorola handset and will then bid farewell to all other potential carriers such as HTC, LG and Samsung.

This is a great move by Google to combine with the mobile phone division of Motorola. Motorola is a great carrier for the supercharge Android.
