Last Wednesday, April 27, Apple confirmed the launching of iPad 2 here in Philippines today, April 29. It will be available at Apple Retail Stores at 9:00 A.M.

Apple has released its latest iPad with an entirely updated design that is now thinner by 33 percent and lighter by up to 15 percent than the original iPad. iPad 2 is just 0.34 inches thick and weighs 1.33 pounds.

iPad 2 still  sustain its 9.7 inch LED-backlit LCD screen and is now using the Apple’s new 1 Ghz dual-core A5 processor for an intensive fast performance and impressive graphics. iPad 2 now includes a front-facing VGA camera for FaceTime® and Photo Booth® and a rear-facing camera that can capture a 720 pixels HD video bringing in for the first time the inventive FaceTime® video calling feature to iPad users.

iPad 2′s overall appearance is noticeably superb and graciously crafted. Buttons are smartly put together on this tiny frame on its very right location for a much easier manipulation.

Although iPad 2 has been physically pared down and packed with new features and a faster performance, Apple guaranteed their users the same longevity of its battery life that was experienced with the latter version even during heavy usage.
