Google Adsense Video Units Feature Is Now Retiring

youtube-googleGoogle Adsense has a bad news for those sites who has Adsense Video Units on it. Because the video units feature is no longer available, it started last March 27 of this year. And this feature will retire at the end of April. All publishers that are currently displaying  video units on their sites are advised to removed the video unit code from their pages as soon as possible. But they are assured that any earnings they have generated from the video units will still be credited on their Adsense account.

Once this video units will retire, any remaining video units on your site will be directed to YouTube.com or it may be automatically changed to standard embedded YouTube players. This is said to display top YouTube videos but of course you will no longer generate earnings from this.

Although you can still display videos from YouTube but it must be directly from YouTube.com. And it was noted that this change won’t affect the availability of other video-related ads options, still video ads may appear in your Adsense if you have chosen an image ads.
