Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro Jr. is the most competent Presidential Candidate for 2010 Philippine Presidential Election

gilbert-gibo-teodoroIt is 39 more days to go before the 2010 Philippine Presidential Election. 39 more days to think of who is the right President for our country, the one that is  capable of the position and the one that we know who is very much competent in dealing with the nations prominent problems. The future of our nation depends much on our choices.

Choosing the right Presidential candidate is not as easy as saying so. If we are concerned enough on our nation’s future, we have to choose it right. In choosing the right presidential candidate, we have to consider so many aspects: character, family background, political background, educational background, political highlights, competency, political platform, leadership performance,  and a lot more.

It is not appropriate to choose a presidential candidate according to its popularity ranking, or according to his financial stability or because he came from an influential family but rather choose the one that is competent enough in dealing with our nation’s poverty-stricken economy, fast growing population, economic crisis, food and water shortage, lack of employment opportunities, low quality education, increase in numbers of out-of-school-youth and unemployed, graft and corruption, racial violence, rapid growth of heinous crimes all over the country and the unending poverty on most of our fellow countrymen.

I have already mentioned on my previous post on whom I would cast my vote. I have chosen to entrust my vote to Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro because he has all the capacity, ability, competency and capability to rule a nation such as Philippines. Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro completed his law studies at the University of the Philippines, year 1989 and topped the Philippine Bar exam in same year. Completed Master of Laws at Harvard Law School in Cambridge and admitted to the State Bar of California. He is the former Secretary of National Defense, Gibo definitely has all the knowledge in dealing with national peace and security that our country needs. Gibo has been a three-termed representative of the first district of Tarlac and was the assistant majority leader in the 11th Congress. Gibo’s mother was a former member of the Batasang Pambansa and his father was the former administrator of Social Security System. These are just few of Gibo’s advantages over other presidential candidates.

Why chose Gibo over other presidential candidates? Simply because I see a brighter future with Gibo. Other presidential candidates may also have intellect and all the knowledge on laws and governance, has been politically involved and serving the country for a longer period of time, has made many contributions to our government, among one of the influential people in our society and has a goal of lifting our country out from poverty, but we can never impart our full trust that our nation and its people are in good hands when they take over as the President. For Manny Villar, he was pulled down with the C5 extension project that most people are doubting on his honesty and integrity. For Noynoy Aquino, maybe he is not a corrupt politician but he has uncertain disposition on some matters that reflected on how  he would probably deals with perplex principle-related issues. As for Eddie Villanueva, he has unaccountable platforms. He thinks of the position as a remote responsibility as if he is just leading an organization. Joseph Estrada on the other hand can no longer be trusted and relied upon. After the impeachment and corruption issues together with some political anomalies, certainly, Joseph Estrada is not the right candidate for the position.

Although Gibo himself has its own weaknesses, but his courage, determination, perseverance and willpower along with his prudent concepts would  take him into the next level. Gibo is indeed the most competent Presidential candidate among all other candidates.

This coming May 10, 2010, to whom will you entrust your valuable vote? Vote wisely because every vote counts. Your single vote could change an entire nation. There is still hope for our country when we do our shares. Do your share by voting the right official.

I agree with you, I believe Gibo is the very right one for President. His intelligence and skills will be our key to a new Philippines in the coming years.

    Go Green! Go Gibo!

Hello Pinay_online thanks for droppin’ by. For me choosing Gibo for President is another way of giving our nation a new hope. Like his chosen campaign color which is green, he is somehow giving a new life to our country that has been over-abused by corrupt government officials. He made no promises but stands with what he knew is right for the country. Gibo is what we, the people, and our country need in fulfilling our dream country – a progressive Philippines.

    Go G1BO!

  • Edik Said:

someone told me that he is not voting intelligent people because he is deceived by arroyo’s intelligence when he voted for her. intelligent people, according to him, are the most corrupt.

i did not vote for arroyo. never.

but this elections, granting without admitting that all candidates are corrupt, i would rather vote for an intelligent person rather than be deceived by a candidate who has vague or no plans for the presidency.

i would rather vote a corrupt intelligent candidate rather than being deceived by a corrupt but looks saintly one.

  • pinoyrichjerk Said:

Hello Edik! Each one of us has its own perceptions on this matter. Yeah maybe you are right that most intelligent people are the most corrupt but I believed that even those people with low intellect are still doing corruption, and the nearest example to this is Joseph Estrada. In other words, corruption has been the major course of most government officials in our country.

With PGMA as a president for 9 years, I would say that although there were so many corruption issues tied up with her, still PGMA has made great changes on our country, it is the people that never give her credits on the good things she has done because it is just the downside of his presidency that has always been the center of all talks.

Corruption will always be a part of every government officials and it is impossible to stop it at once. Nobody has that great power to stop corruption unless there is a total change on our laws and by-laws and a rigid implementation of the laws.

it is hard to find a person who is honest nowadays

  • pinoyrichjerk Said:

Yeah, you are right Marilyn. With our present economic status, people are trying to find means to survive and thus doing illegal is the very first diversion to almost all government officials of any levels and departments. Easy money are commonly earned from illegal business and nowadays people tends to find the most easy way to earn real big cash that is why corruption is a never ending problem in our country. And sad to say, this will always be a part of our government whatever and whoever the president be. :(

Smart choice Jude! Choosing and voting Gibo as our next president is absolutely the most proficient feat as a Filipino who is looking forward for a better Philippines in the next coming years. Go Gibo! ;)

  • Vikki Cortez Said:

Gibo is the best among the presidential aspirants. He is the most qualified to lead our ailing country… we have to do our part of course…. change wont happen overnight.
GALING AT TALINO kailangan hindi ang kasikatan. Haay nako mga friends mag-isip isip naman kayo dyan!

  • pinoyrichjerk Said:

You are absolutely right Vikki! Gibo is definitely our hope for our country. He has already starting to make changes through his clean political campaigns that all other presidential candidates has forgotten to take part. Definitely Gibo is really doing his best to show to us that changes are possible. Those candidates that talked too much about their opponents and even make black propagandas just to get the people’s sympathy are not looking for a new change in our government because even in their campaigns which is supposedly the very start of showing their abilities on how they could change our country was given a little importance. They are still adopting the old way of winning the game, and that is doing some unethical acts for their benefits. Where are the changes they are looking up to then? It is only Gibo that is doing his campaign in a most noble way. If we, the voters are smart enough, then we could really recognize those little things that Gibo are doing that we can consider starts for new changes.

Let’s be wise and smart enough!!!!!Gibo has all the capabilities that we have been looking for. Let us not miss out this great opportunity for our country. Go Gibo tayo mga Pinoy!!!! ;)

  • Sulong Gibo Teodoro Said:

    Yeah!

    Sulong Gibo Huwag U-urong…

    Posibleeee!!!

We are voting for you and we all believe you are our only nations hope for a better future.

We don’t believe on survey results reported on TV cause it doesn’t represent the millions of filipinos sentiment.

You are #1 in our survey!

    Sulong Gibo, Sulong Pinoy!

  • ccc Said:

bkit ayaw nyo c gordon??matalino den sya, mgling sumagot..hmmm..kung s contributions lang den,,lamang na lamang n sya,,why still GIBO??
anyway,,everybody has a right to choose their own president..the matter is,,hnde nten mmpipili kung cno ang mananalo tlaga kc marami tayong panggagalingan non..natanong nyo n ba sa sarile nyo kung ano ang binigay sten ni gibo?kung un ilang taon n panunungkulan d ko sya kilala, sapat n ba ang sbhing mgaling at matalino tlga sya kung ang kinuha nyang vice president ay hnde mo man lang mhagilap..??maliit n bagay lang un ha.,pero icipen nyo..asan ang galing at talino nya?

  • pinoyrichjerk Said:

Hello ccc, my second choice is Gordon. I chose G1bo because I believed on his capacity and capabilities. Although we know that Gordon has done a lot more than G1bo but what I am against Gordon is his being so mayabang of what he has done in Olonggapo City. I guess its not fair enough to claim all the achievements he has done with Olonggapo because we knew that there are also other people behind that success. And yet Gordon is always so proud of that. Yes I agree he is also intelligent but he is a man of many words….and sometimes what he says is somehow no longer possible. One thing also, if you are following on how G1bo and all other presidential aspirants made their campaign, then you can draw a realization how G1bo has made changes from our dirty way of political campaigns. If we try to look at it more profoundly, we can see what G1bo is trying to show us. He definitely wants changes for our government. He already started it out through his clean and focused campaigns. What else could we ask for?

  • pinoyrichjerk Said:

Definitely right Rhezz! Gibo is our hope for a new Philippines! No one else….

  • 4G1bo Said:

  • lyn Said:

    Ka sad nde nanalo c G1BO.. :(

  • pinoyrichjerk Said:

You are right lyn, so sad Gibo did not won. But at least Gibo tried to show us what he can do for our country and he tried to proved to us that he was definitely for a change. He has proven his stand ’til the end of the race. That is why even though Gibo did not won, he is still the best man for me. And I’m still looking forward for the time G1bo can rule our country and change it for the better. ;)
