Apple iPad 4

Apple’s fourth generation iPad is officially named as Apple iPad with Retina Display. This new genre of iPad is not really a far different from Apple’s previous tablet range, in fact it looks relatively look-alike.

iPad 2 and iPad 4 are almost identical when it comes to its design. But the main difference on both tablets are its weight and thickness. The latest genre is a little bit heavier of nearly 60g than that of the second iteration and a little bit thicker as well.

Aside from the additional weight on the device, iPhone 4 is now sporting a Retina display on its 9.7 inches screen with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 at 264 ppi. Other than that, iPhone 4 have the same Multi‑Touch display with IPS technology, fingerprint-resistant and an oleophobic scratch-proof coating on its display.

The new iPad with retina display is currently integrated with a new upgraded processor. From A5X of iPad 2, it is now upgraded to a dual-core A6X with quad-core graphics. This dual-core 1.4 GHz chip is capable of that 2x boost in both CPU and GPU performances. Thus, expect apps to open faster and web pages to build promptly.

iPad 4 has the same camera specs with that of the iPad 2. A 1.2 MP front-facing camera and a 5 MP rear camera with autofocus, face detection, backside illumination, five-elements lens, hybrid IR filter and with ƒ/2.4 aperture. And is capable of 1080p HD video recording.
