Acer-aspire- R7Global leaders in digital technology never stop from producing its premium innovations in digital technologies. In line with this, Acer unveiled its new Acer Aspire R7 laptop with a new hinge design featuring  a very remarkable four-in-one getup that is far from our imagination.

Acer Aspire R7 is designed according to how most common users interact with their notebooks and other similar devices. It holds an Ezel hinge accent that has flexible strip which secures the display and allowing the display to rest vertically on its base, lie flat over it or be flipped 180 degrees so that it will float over its keyboard in Ezel mode. Acer Aspire R7 is integrated with a 15.6-inch Full HD, IPS (In-Plane Switching) display with 1920 x 1080 resolution and 10-finger touch functionality.

Another thing that made Acer Aspire R7 so distinct is the arrangement of its keyboard and trackpad. Trackpad for most similar devices were set up right below the keyboard on the base, but with Acer Aspire R7, trackpad is positioned where most keyboards are usually emplaced and the keyboard settles right beneath the trackpad.

Acer Aspire R7 runs Windows 8 and powered with a 1.8GHz Intel Core i5-3337U processor that is based on Intel’s Ivy Bridge architecture, a 6GB DDR3 RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a 24GB SSD and a full-size backlit keyboard. It is equipped with volume control button, an HD camera, dual microphone, HDMI port, SD card reader,¬† two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0, audio jacks and a convenient converter port that support VGA, RJ45 and USB. Acer Aspire R7 supports 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Acer Aspire R7 weighs 5.3 lbs. with a thickness of just 1.1 inches.

Acer Aspire R7 is said to be out in US markets on May 17, 2013 at $999.
